One evening in Ottawa last week, one of the attendees of the ADE conference I was speaking at had recently purchase a new toy—the Canon TS-E 17mm ƒ/4L lens (which at over $2,300, is a dandy toy indeed!). I’ve never actually used one before, so it was a treat to get to play with it.

These photos were all made on her camera, a Rebel XSi, so not full-frame—so these aren’t quite as wide as they could be.
