Earlier this year, a local restaurant and wine bar Liquid Assets contracted me to redo all of their photography for their website. This was to be an exciting job, involving shooting food, models, staff, wine, and more.
The only problem with the project was that their existing website was designed sometime in the previous century, when dial-up modems were king. OK maybe not really, but certainly the existing site wasn't going to be a great place to show off these shiny new images they wanted.
Fortunately for me, we agreed that not only would I do their photos, but I'd also redo their website. Needless to say this turned it into a much larger project that was only completed a month or so ago, but I (and the client!) are thrilled with how it came out.
A lot of different shots were needed. The shot above, of the steak tartare dish, is a personal favorite (dish, and photo!). I love the way the image came out, and I can practically taste it looking at it. Yumz.
Liquid Assets is a full bar and restaurant, so we wanted to show off their capabilities. They are more known as a wine bar, but are trying to get the word out that it's a great place for beer and cocktails, too, so we focused the next shot on showing the variety of options.
There are a lot more images… head on over to their website at LiquidAssetsWineBar.com to check them out. And of course if you find yourself in Ashland, be sure to stop in for a drink or dinner!
