As I did last year, I spent Halloween in downtown Ashland, OR photographing anyone who wanted in their costumes, and as the year before, it was an absolute blast! This year I chose to not try selling prints. Last year I didn't make enough money to make it financially worth while, but it was still a lot of fun and I know people enjoyed and appreciated it. So this year, I simplified a bit… I lost the black backdrop (which was cumbersome and not always effective), and went a bit more casual. All the photos are on facebook already and they are 100% free for anyone who's in them to use 'em.
Once I ran out of cards (and I went through 300 of them in record time… next year I'll have to print 600!) I headed to Paddy's Pub for a pint and to meet up with friends. The owner asked if I'd post a few photos from the pub, so those are on Facebook as well.
