B&H Presentation

Last week's big task was the presentation at B&H In New York, which went really well. I gave a 90 minute presentation that was an extension of the "Lumix: Shoot Anything" tour I've been doing with fellow LUMIX Luminary Giulio Sciorio throughout the year. This version though is all personal work, and was a really cool opportunity to talk about what I do and how I use the LUMIX gear on a very personal level.

B&H recorded the show, and that should be online in a couple of weeks.

Summer in NYC

Also, it was ridiculously warm in New York last week. In the 60s!! Crazy. But nice light… I snapped a few photos walking around in my downtime.

Live Training 200

On Wednesday I finally pulled off the first Live Training session for the new "Lightroom for Aperture Users" series. This was a discussion, with a chat Q&A as well as a live call-in segment. Clearly still ironing out the kinks though, as I didn't realize there was a massive audio level discrepancy issue before we went live, so I had to remove the call-in portion from the stream unfortunately. The rest of it is available however and this particular session will remain free.

The next "DIY Photographer" video

Another one of these is out, and this is a super simple but — for studio photographers — super useful tip! If you've ever needed to place a light or camera at floor level, you'll appreciate this simple DIY project.

It's holiday time

The rest if this year will be just about family, Christmas, and tying up loose ends on the business. I won't post another "week of" this year unless something comes up, so… happy new year, and see you in 2016!
