Taroko in Ashland is a hip asian-fusion restaurant with creative sushi, delicious entrées, great sake and more. I photographed a selection of menu items for their website and online marketing usage.
Prosciutto in Milan, Italy
Time for a little food p0rn.
I know it’s evil to post stuff like this ‘cause somewhere in the world, someone is already hungry, and this isn’t helping. And with any luck, now all of you are drooling :) This was one of those “nothing special” cafés in Italy, where you’re on the side of the road and the restaurant is unexciting and the waiter is uninteresting and the service is unremarkable but then the Prosciutto and Mozzarella comes and oh oh oh this is just perfect now isn’t it.
This post reminds me of one I wrote years ago about a deli in Amsterdam, back when I used to take the time to write restaurant reviews on this site. The prized line in that post reads:
Their mozzarella waltzes across your tongue in bedroom slippers, the picante salami tangos in stiletto heels
That was seriously good food. This was lovely too. Not quite as euphoric, but I had a better camera this time.
